Happy Birthday Dee! So this morning, while waiting patiently to say these happy words to you and officially kick off a day of celebration, I just laid there awake listening to you breathe. Every breath turned into a memory and a thought.
Gentle breaths that also woke you as a little girl and carried you out into a day of learning, laughing and exploring the unknown. Then they filled your lungs and carried you home to put you to sleep and empty your thoughts. Those are the same breaths you have today, can you imagine that?!! I know what the sound of love and generosity is in between your words…and what it sounds like when you fill your thoughts to the very rim and exhale in order to make room for more. Then there are the constant breaths of your integrity and your determination and the sound of kindness in the words formed with a smile on your face. Yes, there is also a sound for bravery, for caring and for generosity. I hear them often and I hear them all. There is definitely one you make when you launch into a hearty guffaw and fun. I celebrate you in every breath and Dee I am so genuinely proud of you. Genuinely proud. I enjoy you and am grateful that April 4th is marked as a special day to take it all in. So let’s head out on your Dirty April Road for another year’s journey and definitely…Let’s have some fun today!!!! I love you very much :) Happy Birthday love Kris

Found this little girl, faded, worn and in a bottom shelf at 2nd hand store. Gave her a new paint job and eyes that sing!! $2...makes me so happy. (Dee loves her too!) - K :)
